Fygleaves Publishing exists to provide practical opportunities for unpublished writers as authors revealing their leaves to the world.

We are currently shortlisting and the best stories will be posted on this website for online appraisal by readers.

The winner will receive our 2007 cash prize of £150

Entrants will be notified by 30th June 2007 whether Fygleaves will retain first publishing rights for their story, although if publication is deferred until 2008 the company is entitled to hold a number of entries in reserve until 31st March 2008 at the latest, thereby retaining an option on first publishing rights for such entries until that time. Stories may be lightly edited prior to publication, in consultation with the writer where this is possible. Each story included in our book will be published with the author's name and hometown, although a pseudonym may be chosen if desired.

The winner will be notified by 31st July 2007, and will receive a cheque for our £150 first prize: the winner's name and hometown will be announced on our website.
